How does language matching work?
When you tap the Search button, LinguaMoment looks for another user who is available and interested in practicing the same language. Once a match is found, you will receive an incoming call invitation.
What happens when I receive a call?
If you accept the call, the LinguaMoment app opens the video meeting screen, where you and your partner can practice speaking together in real time. Each session is one-to-one and focused on conversation practice.
Are video calls recorded?
No. LinguaMoment does not record or store audio or video from calls. All communication is peer-to-peer and powered securely by Twilio.
How do flashcards work?
You can create your own flashcards to learn new words and phrases. LinguaMoment helps you review vocabulary using spaced repetition techniques, similar to Anki or Quizlet, to improve long-term memory.
What if I encounter inappropriate behavior?
If you experience inappropriate language or behavior during a video session, you can report the incident through the app or our support page. Your safety and comfort are important to us.
